System Error starts off their 2025 run with a stacked LA Fire Benefit show featuring Mr. Carmack, Mary Droppinz, Tsuruda, and others.
System Error is bringing the wubs back to the 1720 Warehouse for a one-night fire relief fundraiser this Saturday, February 1. The lineup includes heavy-hitters Mr. Carmack, Mary Droppinz, and Tsuruda, along with unannounced guest performances. The show allows 18+ entry and will run from 9pm – 2am PT. All net proceeds are pledged to the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) and MusiCares.
System Error is an independent bass music collective based in Los Angeles. Founders Tony Merino and Shailee Ben-David are two seasoned party curators who joined forces and took a bold chance during the pandemic. The outfit inaugurated in 2021 with a two-night run where Of The Trees, Ivy Lab, and more legends christened the decks. We caught up with System Error for their last show of 2024, the VISION Recordings showcase, and it was a certified banger. Head over to 1720 to headbang for good with this piping-hot lineup.
Mr. Carmack is fresh off a historic performance at Otherworld this month, marking the launch of the Philadelphia branch of the Colombus, Ohio-based immersive art experience. Meanwhile, Mary Droppinz is gaining ground with genre-blending selections and eclectic samples. Her enchanting, genre-blending live sets at recent editions of festivals like Fresh Start, Desert Hearts, and Infrasound cannot be ignored. Tsuruda has long been a champion of bass music in the LA underground and a cherished presence at festivals like Shambhala and Electric Forest.
Tickets are on sale now and prices start at $28.25. You can purchase passes to the System Error LA Fire Benefit via Etix.
