Fast-rising UK duo RUZE set the tone for 2025 with the Sample Inspector EP, a three-track minimal masterpiece on Factory 93.

UK duo RUZE have shared a glimpse of the future of house music with their latest effort, the Sample Inspector EP, out now on Factory 93. Known for their innovative sound design and genre-defining tracks, the duo’s sound continues to spread across dance floors worldwide.

PIV Records’ head DJ and founder Prunk has heralded the duo as rising stars and their consistent climb is a testament to their talent as tastemakers. Since their breakout, they’ve landed Beatport #1 hits with their previous releases, garnering support from underground enthusiasts and mainstage crowds alike.

Now, RUZE has unveiled the Sample Inspector EP, showcasing their meticulous approach to rolling basslines and well-programmed minimal and deep tech rhythms. Right off the bat, track one hits hard with high energy, an abundance of repetitive vocals, and spurts of various dynamic elements. With its ode to the raw, underground house experience summed up in the vocal refrain, “There is no VIP tonight,” “Sample Inspector” is a catchy tune that’s already gained traction in the scene.

“Bigelectronic” is a smooth, melodic tune that captures big room energy while managing to keep its cool, minimal vibes intact. Known for his knack for ’90s-style house, Irish DJ and fellow PIV signee Robbie Doherty‘s touch is evident on this collaboration. Track two is a satisfying, energetic, and upbeat groove.

For the finale, Ruze closes this sonic journey with an aptly named and especially hypnotizing track. “Join The Trip” marks their collaboration with Italian DJ and Producer Chesster, the alias of industry pioneer and artist Victor Cester, known for his diverse discography. Another sleek vocal, alarms, and a cutthroat kick take over for a heavy-hitting deep house groove that gets you moving on command.
