Kieran San Jose and SOLA Records Link Up for the Tonight EP

Kieran San Jose, a rising talent on the West Coast dance music circuit, continues his upward trajectory with a fresh EP on Solarado‘s Sola Records. This label, which operates under Armin van Buuren‘s Armada Music umbrella, offers the perfect platform for the promising 24-year-old producer, who has already drawn the attention of heavyweights like Paco Osuna, Loco Dice, and Cloonee.

The EP opens with the title track, “Tonight,” a softer yet compelling cut that seamlessly layers a soulful vocal over a minimal groove. Despite its gentler vibe, it still exhibits the driving energy Kieran has become known for, keeping listeners engaged from start to finish.

On the flip side, “Trust Issues” dives into far darker territory, showcasing Kieran’s take on minimal deep tech. Glitches, bleeps, and a catchy vocal hook give the track an otherworldly feel, while a rumbling bassline ensures it maintains steady momentum.

Before arriving on Sola, Kieran had noteworthy releases on Cloonee’s Hellbent Records and also collaborated with Gio Lucca on releases via Jeff Sorkowitz’s label Short Circuit and the indelible Nervous Records. He’s had support from DJs like Duke Dumont, John Summit, Classmatic, and Chelina Manuhutu. With every new release, Kieran refines his ability to craft memorable grooves that make an impact both on the dance floor.

Kieran had a big 2024 on the touring side as well, playing at Radius Chicago, at Sound Nightclub in Los Angeles, and with Pink Bag Records in Miami, among other appearances. It’s clear his 2025 will be just as noteworthy in terms of both releases and touring.
