Using a new DAW is a huge inspiration in and of itself. New tools bring new ways of thinking and working. I just try to follow where the sounds take me. The EP artwork is a reimagining of what my current studio looks like, surrounded by gear, screens, and speakers, and blasting off into space with cool sounds. My creative mindset was the same as it always has been: Does this feel new and fresh to me? Does this feel like a step forward in my production journey? If both those answers are yes, then it’s usually something I can feel proud of showing the world.
