Dutch producers AFROJACK and Gregor Salto have joined forces to explore the Afrohouse realm as AfroSalto and dropped off their first single under the project with Mednas, “All Good Things (Come To An End).”
AFROJACK and Gregor Salto both have storied careers in the scene and previously collaborated by chance, yet have taken different paths to see success. While AFROJACK has been a force to be reckoned with as a mainstage icon, Gregor Salto has helped bring Latin sounds to the forefront. Now, the two longtime friends have officially joined forces to create a new afrohouse project, AfroSalto, to help open the door to the next chapter of their careers as they harken back to the sounds they fell in love with early on in the scene.
The first taste of AfroSalto arrived just before the new year with the release of an official remix of Kapo’s tune, “Ohnana.” This remix helped pave the way for the soundscapes that would be present in forthcoming releases. Now, in the first days of 2025, they’ve dropped the first single under the project, “All Good Things (Come To An End),” on Spinnin’ Records.
For this fresh single, AfroSalto teamed up with Mednas, a Miami-based producer who has found a home on labels like Heldeep and Musical Freedom in recent years. Together, they’ve taken the 2006 hit from Nelly Furtado and breathed new life into it, taking her powerful vocals and pairing them with warm, organic percussion and melodies. It effectively turns the melancholic-twinged track into one perfect for those upcoming nights spent on the dancefloor.
Give “All Good Things (Come To An End)” a listen on Spotify or your preferred platform, and follow AfroSalto on Instagram for more releases to come in 2025.
