The time has come to say goodbye to Party Favor. The beloved artist dropped his final EP, The Party Never Dies, along with a video from the funeral for the project.

Party Favor has been at the forefront of bringing infectious beats to the masses for over a decade. The Los Angeles-based DJ and producer has done seemingly everything from releasing some of the most bangin’ trap and bass house tunes to taking the stage at festivals and nightclubs worldwide. Yet after 13 years of the project, Party Favor felt it was time to officially shelve it as he focused on other aspects of his artistry, and he’s officially brought it to a close with the release of The Party Never Dies.

The Party Never Dies features seven tracks from Party Favor that showcase the different styles he has explored over the years. From the dancefloor-ready vibes on “Rinse Repeat” and “Breathe” to the more bass-fueled “Enemy” with Dabow and “Buggin,” you’ll find yourself moving and grooving while listening.

This EP is very special and bittersweet for me because it’s the end of a chapter. The party never dies concept with something that I came up with actually a long time ago very early on in my career. It was the idea that when we sleep, the music lives on, and I wanted to convey that sense of euphoria and fun in the music from the beginning. This EP, to me, is a collection of just plain fun pieces of dance music that represent different parts of my journey as PF. And, Now that we are at the end of my era, the party will continue, but it will never die.

But Party Favor wasn’t done there, as a proper send-off was needed for the project, and he did just that by releasing Party Favor’s Funeral on YouTube. This eight-minute-long visual tribute features a guest list that includes Dillon Francis, Bijou, Wenzday, A-Trak, 4B, AC Slater, Valentino Khan, TJR, Rossy, and more. They share their “favorite memories” with Party Favor during their respective eulogies, along with some moments you’ll just have to see for yourself.

Check out Party Favor’s Funeral on YouTube, stream The Party Never Dies on your preferred platform, and stay tuned for more from Party Favor as he continues his journey with Nitti as SIDEPIECE.
