Southern California collective The Music Dealers displays the talents of five of its rising artists on The Music Dealers & Friends Compilation Vol. 1.

In the music industry, one of the few ways to stand out is by being innovative, groundbreaking, and letting passion flow through the work that is created. When these things are combined, they cultivate into something extraordinary. Southern California-based collective The Music Dealers has achieved this magic by creating a label consisting of a diverse cast of passionate artists that truly live, breathe, and die by the sound that they make.

The Music Dealers get their opportunity to give fans something to feast their ears on by releasing The Music Dealers & Friends Compilation Vol. 1 on Thanksgiving day. This creative compilation consists of five tracks by five of the label’s dynamic rising stars: Busterkun, Emmber, Mt. Sierra, Nicolas de Sa, and Nikoleta. Each artist gets to display their unique and versatile sound, including the genres of house, techno, UK Garage, and more.

The Music Dealers & Friends Compilation Vol. 1 begins with Busterkun’s “The Lost,” a track that combines immersive synths with beautiful vocals. This is then followed up with Emmber’s “Gaslight,” an energetic house track with a hip-hop feel. Mt. Sierra’s “Don’t Look Back” and Nicolas de Sa’s “Takedown” then take a different approach with sound, using darker melodies and soundscapes to deliver a sound that would fit perfectly in an underground atmosphere.

The compilation then concludes with Nikoleta’s “Sex And Minimal Tech,” a minimal tech track that leaves you on a groovy note. While each song in the compilation is different from the other, they are all high-octane but extremely diverse tunes that allow the listener an opportunity to feel something in their heart, soul, and feet.

The Music Dealers & Friends Compilation Vol. 1 delivers a passionate experience that will give listeners many reasons to give thanks for the beautiful art of dance music. Listen to the compilation on Spotify, and follow the label on social media for more to come.

David is a journalist from the Bay Area, with a large background in sports. Joining the EDM scene 5 years ago, David enjoyed going to EDM events, but it wasn't until he started attending EDM events with the friends that he grew up with that completely changed his outlook on the world of Electronic music. He realized that tech house gave him life, and quickly grew a great appreciation of many other genres as well. Some of his favorite artists include Matroda, Mau P, San Pacho, Chase & Status, and San Jose hometown hero Svdden Death. Now located in Denver, he frequently attends shows and takes full pride in living in the “Bass Capital”. If you ever see somebody dancing or headbanging at the rails wearing an Indianapolis Colts jersey, there's a good chance it's him.
