This is exactly what rising dubstep artist WonkyWilla aims to do with his latest EP, Wonksgiving, a special release in celebration of Thanksgiving. Known for his distinct style of bold and genre-bending sounds, the Florida-based DJ is bringing an extra layer of warmth this season by releasing new music and using his platform to give back to the community.

Out on Wubaholics, Wonksgiving is a three-track package that combines throbbing basslines and intricate rhythms. In “Drop,” he encapsulates the essence of wubs with explosive and frenetic bass stabs. The relentless beat rolls naturally into the next track, “Scream from Venus.” With tripped-out vocals and thumping kick drums, this hypnotic soundscape takes the fans on a spellbinding listening experience before “Make It Hot” shifts the mood with a sweet alternative vibe to close the EP.

We really wanted to do something special for my debut EP, and this merch drop with Elev808 definitely feels special, especially because we’re donating to Feeding America. Everything about the “Wonksgiving” EP, from the music to the cover art to the merch, feels so on point with where I want this project to go, and I’m so glad the WonkyWilla project gets to end the year on such a high note!
