Rising DJ and producer Milan swung by to drop off a Latin house-fueled mix to help you beat the chilly temperatures throughout the rest of the fall months.
Los Angeles native Milan has been on quite a ride since first emerging onto the scene. This versatile DJ and producer has found a deep love for Latin house and minimal tech, but those two realms do not define him. Layers of influences ranging from hip-hop and reggaeton to R&B and Cumbia have been littered throughout his releases to make them even more unique and allow him to control dancefloors easily.
Performances in recent months at Elements Festival, Discopussy, Proabition, and Mad Gallery have helped push Milan forward. That isn’t all that he’s been hard at work on, though, as he’s rode the wave of his hit track with DEM2, “Pa Pa Pa,” by churning out a hearty number of EPs, including Por La Mañana, Toka Ta, Fantasias, and Still Outside. Milan is also gearing up to release a fresh single with Ambrxse, “Alive,” in the next few days that will land on Malóne‘s Why Not Us imprint to keep the train moving forward steadily.
Before that new tune drops, Milan looked to showcase his sound and keep the chilly temperatures at bay by spinning a mix for our Fall Frequencies series. Found inside its hour-long runtime are tunes like Qmore’s “Blin Blin,” Sera de Villata’s “Shiva’s Chant,” and Brendan James‘ “First Time,” along with a hearty helping of originals and IDs that are sure to get your body moving to the beat.
Listen to this exclusive mix from Milan to get a taste of his Latin and minimal tech-fueled sound, and follow him on social media to stay in the know on where he’s heading next.
