Tacoma, Washington bass music fans can look forward to sets by artists like Space Laces and Flux Pavilion at Excision’s The Thunderdome event.

Come February 7-9, the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Washington will play host to the 2025 edition The Thunderdome, an annual event curated by Excision. With three months to go, the heavy dubstep don has now shared the official lineup for the outing.

Topping each day of The Thunderdome’s bill are Space Laces, Peekaboo, and Flux Pavilion on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, respectively. Flux Pavilion is the most established of the three, having come up during dubstep’s nascent years and exploding in popularity during the EDM boom. Space Laces himself started almost as far back, and Peekaboo started gaining traction in 2017.

Beneath that first row of names, the lineup is studded with rising stars. Friday standouts include ALLEYCVT and SoDown, Saturday will see the likes of Emorfik and Levity perform, and Sunday will bring the house down with performances by Hedex and SIPPY. One artist name is currently blurred out on the Friday lineup and will be revealed in the lead-up to the event.

Of course, nearly everyone who attends The Thunderdome will most look forward to a performance by Excision (real name Jeff Abel) himself. The heavy dubstep juggernaut will participate in a back-to-back set to conclude the event on Sunday. He has yet to announce his b2b partner; at this point, it’s anybody’s guess.

Abel started producing music as Excision in 2006 and released his debut album, X Rated, on deadmau5’s mau5trap label in 2011. After touring extensively for years, he started to organize festivals of his own, achieving great success by leveraging the platform he’d built for himself. Chief among them is Lost Lands in Legend Valley, Ohio, but Abel has also annually hosted Bass Canyon at The Gorge Amphitheatre in Quincy, Washington. It recently came to light that his Cancún gathering Paradise Blue Festival will not go on as planned in 2025.

Tickets to The Thunderdome are on sale now, with three-day passes starting at $356 including fees. Purchase yours and find additional information on Excision’s website.
