Mark Lizaola and the Aftertraxx crew took over the Danse Macabre stage at Escape Halloween, and he dropped off his set to give everyone a dose of techno.
The most recent edition of Escape Halloween marked another fantastic weekend for dance music lovers who made their way to the NOS Events Center to celebrate the spookiest of holidays. Insomniac brought top-tier production elements and a stacked lineup to the venue to create an immersive experience, and there were some surprises in store for those who explored its grounds. This year saw the emergence of Voodoo Village, the new home for the Danse Macabre stage. On the second night, Mark Lizaola and the Aftertraxx crew took control of its decks.
Aftertraxx has been a force at Escape Halloween for years, having showcased a number of rising stars from their label and beyond at past editions. This time around, the formerly silent disco was transformed into a full-sound experience, and this crew basked in that as they delivered booming techno grooves to crowds that swelled in the vibrant space.
Mark Lizaola, Aftertraxx’s founder, was one of the top sets of the night. He delivered a proper dose of underground energy that was a perfect fit for the evening’s peak hours, and you could feel each beat reverberating through the crowd as he helped the dead rise from their graves.
