RL Grime Releases Final ‘Halloween’ Mixtape

Grant Gilmore by Grant Gilmore

in New Releases, Featured

RL Grime’s iconic Halloween mixtape series has officially ended after reaching its 13th edition, and the trap legend brought it to a close with a bang.

RL Grime was amid his ascent to the upper echelon of the scene in 2012 when he dropped his first-ever Halloween mixtape. Since then, each passing edition has become an annual tradition that fans have looked forward to every year, with the Sable Valley boss showcasing new tunes, deep cuts, remixes, and more. But all good things must come to an end, and this year, RL Grime announced that Halloween XIII would be the final mix in the series.

Halloween XIII: The End brings this remarkable series from RL Grime to a close, and true to form, he’s delivered another sensational mix for fans to feast their ears on. Past iterations have seen everyone from SHAQ and Goosebumps author RL Stine help introduce the mix, and beloved actor Jack Black takes this year’s honors to welcome everyone to the ride they’re about to take.

From there, it’s off to the races as RL Grime drops a fresh ID with WINK before diving into tracks from Odd Language, Vari, Rohaan, Eliminate, MPH, Cesco, Congorock, Silcrow, and more, showing off his dynamic style along the way. It’s a solid end to this iconic series, and one can only wonder what he’ll concoct next.

Listen to Halloween XIII: The End on SoundCloud or your preferred platform, and follow RL Grime to find out his next moves in the scene.
