Lane 8’s latest fall mixtape has landed. It features a hearty helping of his latest tunes and selections from others like Kasablanca, Ben Böhmer, and more.
It doesn’t really feel like a season has truly begun until Lane 8 delivers a mixtape to help usher the upcoming months in. Although he usually releases his seasonal mixtapes closer to the start of each one, the fall edition, which dropped today, was delayed due to a good cause. Last month, the This Never Happened label boss surprised his faithful fans with the news of his fifth studio album, Childish, and then dropped it to much acclaim.
Just because he was amid an album release didn’t mean that Lane 8 would forget about his seasonal mixtape, though, and the latest volume in the series is brimming with another helping of stunning tunes. He begins with “Childish” before driving forward into the serene soundscapes of artists like Bonobo, Kasablanca and anamē, deadmau5, Ben Böhmer, OLAN, LUMI, Jeremy Olander, Massane, Eelke Kleijn, and more. There are also eight IDs included in this mixtape, so make sure to keep your ears tuned for those releases to be unveiled in the near future.
