DJ Snake Officially Launches New Bass Alias, The OUTLAW

DJ Snake has entered his bass phase with his new alias, The OUTLAW, and is set to hype everyone up for what’s to come with a show in Los Angeles.

While French DJ and producer DJ Snake might be most renowned for his house-fueled hit tunes that feature top-tier collaborators and larger-than-life sets, that doesn’t mean he can’t deliver a dose of bass, either. After wanting to break free from the constraints of the mainstream and striking up a conversation with Excision, he decided that dabbling in the realm of bass would be the right move. Now, he’s done just that with the debut of his newly-minted project, The OUTLAW.

DJ Snake debuted The OUTLAW at Lost Lands last month and quickly won over the headbangers who flocked to his set at the festival. Those who missed out can relive the madness as he posted the full performance on SoundCloud, but that was just the start of the surprises he had in store. On October 9, the first taste of what The OUTLAW’s releases will sound like surfaced when he dropped a remix of “HITA” with Trickstar that kicked energy up a notch as the two twisted the tune from Flosstradamus and Viperactive into something new.

If the remix of “HITA” wasn’t enough to turn you into an immediate fan of The OUTLAW, perhaps a performance might do the trick. He’s doing just that for those in Southern California as he’s teamed up with Brownies & Lemonade for a debut show in Los Angeles set to take place on November 7 at a venue to be announced.

Those in Los Angeles who want to experience all that The OUTLAW has to offer can sign up for the presale. Follow him on social media or dig into his official website, which includes a free download of that stunning Lost Lands set. Stay tuned for more from this project.
