Zeds Dead will return to Chicago in December for Zeds Shed at The Salt Shed, and they’re bringing IMANU, MYTHM, Barely Alive, Sippy, and more along for the ride.
A December tradition for Zeds Dead and the Deadbeats crew is their annual return to Chicago for a multi-night run of can’t-miss sets. Last year, they moved the event from its former home at The Aragon Ballroom to The Salt Shed, where it expanded to three full nights for the first time ever. Today, Zeds Dead announces that the event will return to its new home for another marathon experience on December 19-21, but this time around, it’s been dubbed Zeds Shed.
The Zeds Dead Family knows they always save some of their best shows of the year for this holiday tradition in the Windy City, and they didn’t hold back on the support for the upcoming edition. Zeds Shed will feature three sets from the beloved duo, along with more booming bass music from artists who have found a home on the Deadbeats roster.
The first night of Zeds Shed will kick off with MYTHM, A Hundred Drums, Sota, and Barely Alive, followed by Don Jamal, Stellar, Moody Good, and IMANU on the second night. The third night is set to bring Floret Loret, Frosttop, Sippy, and Mr. Carmack to the stage to close out the weekend.
If three 90-minute Zeds Dead sets weren’t enough, the duo typically throws afters at a smaller Chicago venue following the main shows, so stay tuned into their socials for potential added announcements. Fans might even get lucky enough to get another streetside popup of Hooks’ artwork that he often brings to the Chicago stop, where you can purchase his original artwork and have it signed.
The official presale for Zeds Shed kicks off on Thursday, October 4 at 12pm CST. Be sure to register via the web or by texting ZEDSSHED to 1-(213)-456-8577 for your best chance at scoring tickets. If you miss the pre-sale, the general on-sale will happen on Friday, October 5 at 10am CST for all remaining tickets.
