An arrest was made at Lost Lands earlier this morning after a man ran over multiple tents in the vendor camping area. One person has been hospitalized.

A report of a man running over tents with a car in the vendor/staff camping area at Lost Lands that surfaced last night on the festival’s subreddit has since been confirmed. The Licking County Police Department has arrested a person who has since been placed in custody, and another individual has been hospitalized. ABC 6 has identified the man as 24-year-old Noah Curtis, who was charged with aggravated vehicular assault.

Last night, Reddit user u/Lumpy_Scholar_1407 posted about a person running over tents in the vendor/staff camping area to the Lost Lands subreddit. They said that they and others at the scene were instructed by security staff to call 911. Both posts were deleted by the subreddit’s moderators, who initially claimed it was “inaccurate or misleading information,” but the post was also made to r/aves, where it still remains up.

In the statement posted to the subreddit, the Lost Lands team verified that emergency response teams responded to a car accident at the vendor campgrounds. “On Saturday night, Licking County Sheriff’s Department arrested a man after a vehicle was involved in an incident at the vendor camping area, injuring two people, one of whom was taken to a local hospital to receive medical care and is in stable condition,” Lost Lands Festival Organizers told EDM Identity. “We are offering any information we can to local authorities to aid their investigation.” According to ABC 6, a woman is who was hospitalized with a broken hip, while another male victim only sustained minor injuries.

This isn’t the only situation at Lost Lands this weekend that was addressed in the statement. A video posted on the subreddit last night showed an attendee in the crowd holding what appeared to be a gun. The Lost Lands team has since confirmed that it was a water gun, and according to them, the person was removed from the festival. “We have a zero tolerance policy for toys resembling any form of weapon,” they stated.

The festival, which is on its final day today, got off to a rocky start. Ticketing platform Lyte abruptly shut down, creating chaos for many who had sold or purchased tickets through the platform. The festival has stated that they’ve contacted Lyte regarding where to send patrons who sold tickets to the platform.

Local officials also implemented a fire ban due to drought conditions in the area. Lost Lands dispelled the rumor that a $5,000 fine was imposed on an attendee for smoking, stating, “No fines have been given to any attendees.” Some have taken to social media to claim that nothing was done when they contacted security regarding others smoking or using open flames at the festival, and videos surfaced last night of Zeds Dead smoking while performing their set.

EDM Identity has reached out to Lost Lands for additional comments on these situations. Stay tuned for more details.
