Sara Landry Announces Debut Album, ‘Spiritual Driveby’

The High Priestess of Hard Techno, Sara Landry, has released more details about her forthcoming debut album, Spiritual Driveby, which is due out on October 4 via HEKATE.

The rise of Sara Landry in the techno scene has been remarkable, and she’s adding even more power to her legacy with each passing month. The DJ and producer who embraced the title of High Priestess of Hard Techno has been on a tear in 2024 with standout performances at EDC Las Vegas, Tomorrowland, and more, and is fresh off a two-night run in Los Angeles. Today, she dropped the news that her debut album, Spiritual Driveby, is set to arrive on October 4 via her label, HEKATE.

Spiritual Driveby is set to feature 12 explosive tunes from Sara Landry, all of which will showcase her dark, driving sound oozing with divine feminity. Yet she didn’t travel alone on this path into the underground depths, as other artists, including Mike Dean, Nico Moreno, Shlømo, Aaron Hibell, and more, joined her for the ride.

This sonic offering was motivated and inspired by the notion that none of us are alone because we are all energetically linked. Everything we do is interwoven and collaborative, whether we realize it or not. Every musical experience we’ve ever had, every show we’ve been to, every euphoric moment that echoes across time has been a collaborative experience and a stacking of energies.

Glimpses of what’s to come on Spiritual Driveby began to arrive earlier this summer when Sara Landry dropped “Heaven” with Alt8. Two more singles, “Prisoner” with Alex Farrell and “Pressure” with LEGZDINA, have landed since. All three tunes have captivated listeners with unrelenting basslines that leave you gasping for air, evocative vocals that swirl in the mind, and other boundary-breaking elements you can’t help but fall in love with.

Sara Landry’s next single off the album, “Because They Want Our Seat,” is due out on September 6 and sees her team up with another phenom in the hard techno scene, Nico Moreno. She gave a taste of this track’s pure, unadulterated madness to many who have caught her sets at festivals like Tomorrowland and Verknipt this summer, so don’t sleep on it when it drops!

Check out the first three singles on Spotify, pre-save “Because They Want Our Seat” ahead of its release this week, and pre-save a copy of Spiritual Driveby before it drops on October 4. Follow Sara Landry on social media for the latest updates on her debut album, ongoing tour, and more.
