Armin van Buuren Releases 2024 Installment of 'A State of Trance Ibiza'

Armin van Buuren is kicking off his five-show summer residency at Ushuaïa Ibiza and has released the latest edition of A State of Trance Ibiza, which showcases the sounds of the White Isle.

Ibiza continues to be at the forefront of the minds of many in the dance music scene, whether flocking to the destination to experience shows or making plans for a future trip. This includes legendary artist Armin van Buuren, who has consistently taken the stage at clubs on the White Isle and has a five-show residency this summer at Ushuaïa Ibiza, which just kicked off today. To celebrate, he’s released the latest installment of A State of Trance Ibiza, featuring three parts highlighting the different sounds and styles permeating the island.

A State of Trance Ibiza 2024 is massive, not just because it’s filled to the brim with quality tunes but also because it marks a decade since the compilation first surfaced. The three mixes, On The Beach, In The Club, and Who’s Afraid Of 138?!, capture everything there is to love about the White Isle, from the gorgeous, sun-soaked days to the evenings spent moving to the beat on dancefloors at top-tier nightclubs. Also found inside are 18 unreleased gems you can’t help but fall in love with.

I’ve been a huge fan of Ibiza for many years, and I know the island inside and out, but I still find new ways to fall in love with it all over again. It’s not just a hotspot for new music, but also a place where people create unforgettable moments and lifelong friendships. Celebrating ten years of Ibiza-themed albums is incredible. There are a lot of new songs on there that I’ve only played in my sets so far. It feels good to get it out right before my residency starts. I hope you love it!

The first mix takes you to the island’s sandy shores with tracks from artists like John Grand, Chris Schweizer, Dan Sushi, UUFO, KASIA, Joris Voorn & AVIRA, and more. Then, it’s time to hit the club for some dancefloor action, with Armin guiding you through four of his freshest tunes before diving straight into soundscapes from Matt Fax, BLR, Sean Tyas & Enigma State, and DIM3NSION, among others. Peak hour energy is then achieved as a hearty helping of tracks from the likes of KI/KI, David Forbes, Lilly Palmer, Olly James, Asteroid & Daniel Skyver, and Aly & Fila & Richard Durand keep the Who’s Afraid of 138?! vibes alive.
