Pasquale Rotella took to social media today to announce that EDC Mexico will return to Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico City on February 21-23.
Insomniac has continued to bring the heat with their upcoming festival and show announcements in the US and abroad all summer, and the latest is sure to spice things up even more. Today, Pasquale Rotella took to social media to drop the news that EDC Mexico is set to return to Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico City on February 21-23.
EDC Mexico, brought to life in partnership with OCESA, has grown rapidly over the past decade. While its beginnings were small, it has since grown to become the second-highest-attended edition of Electric Daisy Carnival on the planet, with an attendance of well over 100,000 people per day. Each passing year has seen numerous upgrades along the way, with massive stages, top-tier production elements, and lineups that feature plenty of unique artists helping make it one of the best EDC stops to attend.
Unlike the standard tiers found at festivals on US soil, EDC Mexico’s pass types are named differently. The “Overall Experience” pass is effectively GA. The Comfort Pass is aligned with GA+, allowing you to access fast-tracked festival entry, air-conditioned restrooms, and exclusive lines at select bars. The Citibanamex Plus pass is EDC Mexico’s VIP offering, giving access to exclusive viewing platforms, dance areas, and other amenities, including premium bathrooms, WiFi, specialty cocktail bars, unique activations, and more.
Those attending can expect a larger-than-life lineup and overall experience when they head to the festival in 2025. Previous years have featured a hearty helping of dance music titans and rising stars alike from a wide array of genres. The 2024 edition brought forth the likes of David Guetta, Armin van Buuren, CamelPhat, Zedd, John Summit, Eli Brown, Black Tiger Sex Machine, Da Tweekaz, Tchami x Malaa, and more. Where EDC Mexico also shines is the support for local artists, who help take the stage to show off the sounds of their home country and others in Central and South America.
The Citibanamex presale for EDC Mexico kicks off on September 17 at 2pm CT, with the general sale beginning on September 18 at 2pm CT. Head to the official website for more details and stay tuned for the lineup to be revealed!
