One tour was not enough for Barclay Crenshaw to support his March 2024 album Open Channel.
By now, everyone knows that Barclay Crenshaw is a formidable name in bass music. The DJ and producer who originally made a name for himself under his tech house alias Claude VonStroke proved as much with his March album, Open Channel, along with the tour of its namesake. Now, he’s announced a second Open Channel Tour throughout the US from September 21 – December 28.
Crenshaw will kick off the tour with a performance at Cascade Equinox Festival in Redmond, Oregon, followed by an appearance at Wakaan Music Festival in Ozark, Arkansas. From there, he will perform in spaces like 9PM MUSIC VENUE in Houston and Otherworld in Colombus before rounding out October with another two festivals, Intersection Halloween in Grand Rapids, Michigan and Freakfest in St. Louis, Missouri.
November will see Crenshaw touch down at venues like Blackbox Theatre in Charlotte and Skydeck on Broadway in Nashville in addition to his DJ set at Apocalypse Zombieland in Long Beach, California. Then, in December, he’ll close out his fall 2024 Open Channel Tour with visits to the likes of Mission Ballroom in Denver and Walter Where?House in Phoenix before a finale at Dallas New Year’s Eve festival Lights All Night.
Barclay Crenshaw’s fall 2024 Open Channel Tour announcement also includes two mystery shows. All information for the first one is completely obscured; all that is known is that it falls between October 27 and November 1. The other takes place on December 21 in Jacksonville, Florida at a yet-to-be-announced venue.
Artist pre-sale for the fall 2024 Open Channel Tour is now open, and ticket on-sale starts on Friday, August 16 at 10am local time. Sign up on the Barclay Crenshaw website.
