As the name of his upcoming North American tour suggests, Fred again.. will touch down in cities he has not yet visited in September and October.
Lately, it seems like Fred again.. is everywhere. Between chart-topping singles, sold-out headline shows, and collaborations with the likes of Skrillex and Four Tet, he’s a prominent fixture of the post-pandemic dance music landscape.
Be that as it may, Fred again.. (real name Frederick Gibson) still has yet to visit a number of major cities throughout the US and Canada. He aims to rectify that on the newly announced places we’ve never been tour. Consisting of 14 dates in total, it will run from September 11 – October 13.
The places we’ve never been tour kicks off with two back-to-back shows at Ball Arena in Denver. Gibson then touches down at the Utah First Credit Amphitheatre in Salt Lake City before another double-header at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, a show at Target Center in Minneapolis, and two more consecutive shows at Alpine Valley Music Theatre in East Troy, Wisconsin.
And that’s just September. On the first day of the following month, Gibson will perform at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit before a double-header at Scotiabank Arena just over the border in Toronto. The last week of the tour will see him perform at KeyBank Center in Buffalo, State Farm Arena in Atlanta, and Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.
Gibson’s places we’ve never been tour will follow hot on the heels of his upcoming album, ten days, which is due out on September 6. Consisting of ten tracks in total, it includes previously released singles like “adore u” with Obongjayar and “places to be” with Anderson .PAAK and CHIKA as well as new collaborations with artists like Scott Hardkiss, Joy Anonymous, and The Japanese House.
Artist presales to all the shows on Fred again..’s places we’ve never been tour start Thursday, August 8 at 12pm local time. Sign up on the Fred again.. website.
