Dion Timmer, JEANIE, TYNAN, and DRINKURWATER are among the guests on Ray Volpe’s Volpeverse North American tour.
Fans of Ray Volpe throughout North America are in for a treat this fall and winter. The Long Island-born, Los Angeles-based heavy bass music DJ and producer is introducing a new audiovisual stage show called Volpeverse. He’s bringing it to eight cities from October 5 – February 1, with one more such event taking place at an as-yet-unspecified date.
Heavy bass mainstay Dion Timmer will join Volpe on a number of the dates. Among them are the kickoff event at MTELUS in Montréal, the December 4 showing at Brooklyn Steel, and the last currently listed date of February 1 at the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center.
A slate of other notable artists will accompany Volpe on these and the other Volpeverse events. Control Freak, DRINKURWATER, JEANIE, Jiqui, Sora, TYNAN, and VRG each appear on the lineup of either one or two of the shows, with Dion Timmer, TYNAN, and VRG all billed for the Las Vegas date.
It remains to be seen exactly what Ray Volpe has in store for the Volpeverse shows. “The best way i can compare it/describe it is like a roller coaster ride,” he has shared. “There’s some bits of story interwoven into non-stop action, the action here being the music you come to expect. there’s a couple of new characters involved but more on them later.”
Volpe currently has a clear tour schedule other than the aforementioned eight dates. Time will tell if he fills up the time between with regular shows as four months is a long time for an artist of his stature to go with only that many tour stops.
