Aazar and Capozzi have joined forces to create a new project that acts as the middle ground between light and dark – Vertigo.
It’s always interesting to see what magic can be created when two artists collide from different sides of the sonic spectrum. The latest example of this comes from Aazar and Capozzi, who have both seen success in their solo careers with defined soundscapes that have won over crowds. While both artists are rooted in the bass house realm, Aazar has a lighter approach to the more mysterious Capozzi. Now, they’ve come together to find a middle ground and have launched their collaborative project, Vertigo.
The Vertigo project, which has found its footing with its debut release on the Tchami-led imprint Confession, isn’t centered on the bass house sounds. Instead, it’s an entirely new offering from Aazar and Capozzi as they explore the realms of euro dance, trance, and progressive house. That aforementioned single, “Hit My Heart,” is uplifting above all else, leaving listeners soaring to new heights as they bask in the gorgeous soundscape.
From the trance-fueled melody to the sped-up beat that injects just enough energy into the mix, “Hit My Heart” is the perfect tune for anyone who wants to lose themselves on the dancefloor as the seconds tick away. Adding to the ambiance are the powerful, soul-stirring vocals from Makayla Phillips that really make this track feel like a surefire summer hit. If this heartstring-tugging track is just a taste of what’s to come from the Vertigo project, then it’s clear that the future is bright.
