The COCO Chronicles, Vol. 1 features new dancefloor heat from up-and-comers Jho Roscioli, Nestor Neven, Nicola Gavino, and many more.

COCO, a UK based label headed by DJ and producer SOSA, has just unveiled its first various artists (VA) compilation, The COCO Chronicles, Vol. 1. Following the release of his highly anticipated single, “Blow,” SOSA continues to impress with this new, eight-track compilation, showcasing talent from all over the world.

The compilation kicks off with Brazil’s Jho Roscioli and their track “Fresno,” which starts strong with hypnotic drums and captivating vocals. Nicola Gavino’s “Funk Me” follows, bringing a groovy bassline, disco-like feel, and standout peak-time vocals.

Next up is Nestor Neven with “East Coast,” a track that will undoubtedly make the dancefloor groove with its driving beat and simplicity. Andrea Guido‘s “Dirty” then lives up to its name, featuring catchy, glitchy vocals.

Ell Jordan’s “Keep It Dirty” is a bomb of a tune, featuring a heavy, powerful kick drum and bass that groove intensely. Alan Nieves‘ “U Got Heart” follows with dreamy vocals that add a unique touch to the compilation.

“No Sleep” by Pheelo takes a darker turn with fun sound effects and intriguing vocals. Rounding out the compilation is Kevin Corral‘s “Django,” which stands out with its unique Indian vocal sample, making it the perfect closing tune.

Each of these tracks could easily stand out on their own, making for an extremely strong VA. These tunes are clearly made for the dancefloor, and it’s likely that SOSA has been playing them in his own sets.

This compilation is a testament to SOSA’s ability to curate a diverse and compelling selection of tracks. It not only highlights emerging artists but also bridges different musical influences, creating a rich and varied listening experience.

With its global lineup and dancefloor-ready tracks, The COCO Chronicles, Vol. 1 is set to be a summer staple. You can catch SOSA touring in North America and Europe this summer, with more details here.
