Alesso proposed to model and influencer Erin Cummins at Lake Como in Northern Italy.
Sorry ladies, Alesso will soon be off the market. The superstar DJ and producer made a grand gesture by proposing to his girlfriend, Erin Cummins, at Lake Como in Northern Italy‘s Lombardy region with a diamond the size of a peanut.
The two shared the news in a joint post on Instagram. “On 6.12.24 she said yes,” it reads. A photo carousel shows the two in varying stages of loving embrace beside the lake, as well as in a small boat sailing through it.
Alesso (real name Alessandro Lindblad) first caught fire in the EDM scene for his and Sebastian Ingrosso‘s 2011 single “Calling (Lose My Mind)” featuring Ryan Tedder. The same year, he delivered a remix of Nadia Ali‘s “Pressure” that further cemented his success, and he delivered a BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix in 2012. He released his debut studio-length album Forever in 2015.
Erin Cummins also marked her first big career milestone in 2011 when she competed in the Miss World pageant. She has been represented by modeling agencies like O Models in the US, MGM Models in Germany, and No Stranger Management in Sweden.
Lindblad and Cummins have dated for at least three years. The two have yet to share a location, date, or any other details of their wedding ceremony at the time of writing.
Lindblad’s engagement news follows that of Rezz, who announced last August that she would marry fellow musician fknsyd. The following month, Calvin Harris married his then-girlfriend Vick Hope in a Glastonbury-themed wedding ceremony.
This spring, Lindblad announced a new record label called Body Hi and inaugurated it with the release of a single titled “Zig Zag.” More recently, he reimagined “The Rhythm of the Night” by Corona, which appeared on his Hypnotize EP.
