With a creative vision that knows no bounds, Leeds-grown and Ibiza-based artists Audiojack have continued to impress worldwide fans with their impeccable releases. They founded their dancefloor-focused imprint Gruuv in 2010 to nurture upcoming talents and provide an alternative home for their original releases.

Throughout their 20-year artistic journey, the label bosses have blasted their signature club-ready sounds through the sound systems of remarkable venues worldwide such as Space in Ibiza, Tokyo’s Womb, fabric in London, and Zouk Singapore. The pair have also released music on esteemed labels such as Solid Grooves, Knee Deep In Sound, Leftroom, and 2020vision. Now, the regulars on Damian Lazarus’ Crosstown Rebels have returned to the label for their seventh EP, Play With My Mind.

“The tracks were made independently, so there’s no premeditated theme, but we made them all for the dancefloor. We used a classic ’90s organ for a nostalgic vibe on ‘Play With My Mind’. On ‘Casual Verve’, we made a feel-good ’80s synth boogie track, which we sampled and remixed, turning it into a relentless bass-driven track. ‘Delirium’ emulates the feeling of coming up on the dancefloor, while ‘Connect’ brings a fresh vocal garage vibe.”

This four-track package sees Audiojack reconnect with the dancefloor and fully let loose in their creative process. Fueled only by pure ecstatic energy, each track was crafted organically to encourage a sense of liberation.
