Global Dance Festival is moving to a new venue but is still packing a punch with its lineup that includes The Chainsmokers, Duke Dumont, FISHER, and more.
Denver is home to many dance music lovers who are hungry for unique experiences and standout sets. Intimate shows, special nightclub experiences, and more have been found in the Mile High City, but those looking for something a bit larger have flocked to Global Dance Festival. Last year saw the festival celebrate its 20-year anniversary, and now some refreshed vibes are in order as they begin the trek to their next milestone.
Global Dance Festival will return on July 26-27 at a new home, the Stockyards Event Center Grounds. This venue in the northern portion of Denver will allow the festival to expand its grounds and allow them to keep the beats pumping until 1am. Additionally, the Global Dance team has teased that there will be new stage designs, an enhanced VIP village, and more changes that will be revealed in the future.
This year’s edition of Global Dance Festival might feature a smaller lineup than previous ones, which makes sense considering the current climate for events, but it doesn’t mean that it isn’t packing a punch with quality acts. Headliners slated to take the stage at Global Dance Festival include The Chainsmokers, Duke Dumont, FISHER, Gryffin, and Kaytranada, but that’s just one piece to the puzzle that will make this summer show spectacular.
Bass artists like Champagne Drip, Crankdat, G Jones, Kayzo, Ravenscoon, and Said The Sky grace the second line, adding more fuel to the fire and making it clearer that the wubs will be flowing at the new venue. Furthering the bass side of the spectrum are artists like 1991, Canabliss, and Vampa, along with Liquid Smoak, the side project from Smoakland focused on liquid drum and bass. Add in a run of other artists like Lizzy Jane, Hartshorn, Ecotek, Concentrates, Aramis, NJoy, and Zoa, and you’ll be sure to find soundscapes to your liking at the festival this year.
