Fresh off a set at Coachella’s Do LaB, salute announced their forthcoming album TRUE MAGIC and dropped a new single with Rina Sawayama.
UK-based DJ and producer salute has seen incredible support from the scene as they’ve risen through its ranks while bringing the sounds of UK Garage and more to the masses. Incredible tracks like “Peach,” “Joy,” “Wait For It,” and “All About U” have led the charge on the release front, while their live performances have been just as remarkable. salute has performed in front of thousands at festivals like Glastonbury while also playing energetic Boiler Room sets and touring the world.
Today, after a fantastic appearance at Coachella’s Do LaB stage earlier this month, salute is sparking an even bigger fire for themselves with the announcement of TRUE MAGIC. The upcoming album from this beloved artist is due for release on July 12 via Ninja Tune and will feature 14 fresh tunes, including collaborations with Disclosure, Karma Kid, Sam Gellaitry, LEILAH, and more that show off their pop side.
I went in quite blindly just with some loops and ideas but there’s much more of a focus on songwriting and collaboration on this album. In dance music, there always seems to be this focus on doing everything yourself, but I wanted to get a team around me to develop the ideas I had. One thing I’m really proud of is how organic the work with the collaborators is. I’ve managed to get such a breadth of amazing people on the record.

From the shuffle-inducing drop to the vibrant elements layered throughout its runtime, this track is perfect for the summer season ahead.
