RM47 is gearing up for their set at Shabang Festival and dropped off a mix that’s filled to the brim with quality dance grooves to help set the vibe.
Magic happens when two artists find creative synergy in the studio, and that’s exactly what went down when MAAD and Raleigh first began working together. Channeling their shared experiences, these two artists previously worked together on various projects before deciding to launch their collaborative project RM47. Since then, the Los Angeles-based duo quickly began to take hold of many in the scene looking for refreshing tunes that marry the realms of electronic, alternative R&B, pop, and more.
RM47 made a splash in 2021 with the release of their track “Needed U,” which received a fantastic remix from R3LL. Other singles from this dynamic duo that have stood tall include “Strangers,” “Running Back,” and “Hotline,” all of which helped put their signature Alt-Electro-R&B style on display. Last year saw RM47 continue their upward trajectory as they hosted their debut headline show at Los Globos while opening for Qveen Herby during three sold-out shows at the Teragram Ballroom. Add in the duo’s debut album, Stuck With You But I Like It, and it’s clear that their plans to reach even greater heights are materializing.
The duo wasn’t planning to slow down in 2024, either. RM47 dropped their latest single, “Gimme Dat,” in March. It features sultry vibes, punchy vocals, and an overall ambiance that’s perfect for late nights spent dancing in a club. And while they’ve teased that more music is on the way in May, there’s something else on the horizon – their debut festival performance at Shabang Festival. RM47 will be putting their dynamic sound that’s entrancing at its core front and center during their set as they join other notable artists like SIDEPIECE, Noizu, Kaleena Zanders, and more.
Looking to give everyone a taste of what’s to come at Shabang Festival in May, RM47 dropped off a mix that provides plenty of dancefloor energy. Give it a spin, follow the duo on social media, and grab tickets to the festival to catch them live.
