Waiting at Friday’s starting line is m.O.N.R.O.E. and Hidden Empire. The former is idling on the memories of his performance at Ultra Music Festival this past March, and he’s ready to throw it back into gear. Duo Hidden Empire will be making their RESISTANCE debut. The A-Feature for night one is the legendary Carl Cox. He played a major role in establishing RESISTANCE after the arrival of the Carl Cox & Friends Arena at Ultra Music Festival two decades ago. He’ll be taking the crowd on a ride-along for four adrenaline-rushing hours.
On Saturday, RESISTANCE takes the corner with Eagles & Butterflies and HOSH. The former is Los Angeles-based, sonically multifaceted, and the driver behind Art Imitating Life. HOSH is a label owner as well. But outside of fryhide, you can always catch his dark groove on Three Six Zero Recordings.
Waiting at the finish line is the classically-trained Italian duo Mathame. They’re on the top of their game as they prepare for their Amnesia Ibiza residency debut this June. At M2, the RESISTANCE regulars are ready to unload three full hours of melodic techno before waving the checkered flag.
