It’s time for the next Open Door Sessions brought to you by the music and charity lifestyle brand and collective, Neon Owl. They’ve been tapping talent in major music cities all over the US, including LA, NYC, Las Vegas, and even Groove Cruise, and on Saturday, March 2, they’re headed to District Atlanta!
These sessions are an invaluable piece of the puzzle for hopeful DJs and producers when it comes to getting discovered and signed. You’ll not only get to network with top industry booking agents, A&R, founders, producers, and more, but you may have the chance to get your demos heard. Please note — you have to sign up before submitting your demos, and only a limited number of tracks will be selected.
The lineup for Atlanta’s Open Door Sessions is stacked with career-focused individuals who are ready to pass their knowledge on to you. A few standouts include production/event manager and resident DJ Brenden Lee Rosenbaum and techno trailblazer Sam WOLFE who took his career to new heights on UMEK‘s 1605.
You’ll also get to brush elbows with Scott Steiner, a passionate artist manager and booking agent, and Rohit Agarwal, the Chief Product Officer at SoundCloud. Atlanta’s best event curators will also be on hand including Twisted Lines‘ Yera Angeles and Brian Paek representing InvAsian. This only scratches the surface.
Since its inception in 2015, Neon Owl, founded by siblings Ray and Elaine Huang, has made it their mission to bring artists and fans together for the good of the community, supporting dozens of charities along the way. For this weekend’s go-round, proceeds will be donated to multiple animal rescues.
In addition, there’ll be a drawing for some amazing prizes. These include a slot to spin at a future event, free entrance to ODS/shows, production and mentorship opportunities, one-on-one Zoom calls with industry panelists, merch, and more!
