ANGVIS Announces BLACKOVT Show at Catch One in LA

Need a dose of dark grooves? ANGVIS has you covered with their BLACKOVT show at Catch One featuring Aky, Koque, Kalcyfr, and more.

While much of the global house and techno community has been focused on the upper echelon of artists in the scene, a ton of activity is happening just below the surface. Rising stars and underground artists are the ones who are truly shaking things up and helping shape the future, and ANGVIS is an imprint that’s helping show that off with each passing release.

Founded in 2020, this independent London-based label has helped usher in the dark sounds from the European house and techno scene from over a dozen artists, but they have their sights set on even greater things. Now, four years after launch, they’re set to host their first-ever event in Los Angeles, BLACKOVT. Set to take place on Saturday, March 2 at Catch One, this one-night affair will show off the boundary-pushing sound and inclusive community that ANGVIS brings to the scene.

ANGVIS Presents BLACKOVT features a lineup of forward-thinking artists who are quickly rising through the ranks of the community. Los Angeles-based artist Aky is an immediate standout on the bill, with some impeccable releases under his belt that have caught the attention of fans and tastemakers alike. Joining him at the show are others shaking up the scene who reside in Los Angeles, including Koque, Kalcyfr, Tiaro, and ANGVIS’ A&R, Nomi, showing off the dynamic range of soundscapes that will be booming through the speakers at Catch One that night.

Tickets for ANGVIS Presents BLACKOVT are on sale now, with free entry with RSVP (before 10:30pm) available option available. Head to Catch One’s official website to make your purchase. Please note that this show is strictly 21+.

Grant Gilmore’s authoritative voice as a media professional lends credibility not common to EDM journalism. As the founder of EDM Identity he has effectively raised the bar on coverage of the past decade’s biggest youth culture phenomenon. After ten years of working for nonprofit organization Pro Player Foundation, Gilmore launched EDM Identity as a media outlet offering accurate informative coverage of the rave scene and electronic music as a whole. Although they cover comprehensive topic matter, they have taken special care in interviewing the likes of Armin van Buuren, Adventure Club, Gorgon City, Lane 8 and Afrojack. In addition to household names, they have also highlighted unsung heroes of the industry through their ID Spotlight segment. Whether he’s covering it or not, you can expect to find Grant Gilmore attending the next big electronic music event. To find out what’s next on his itinerary, follow him via the social links below.
