Lane 8 Announces Return of This Never Happened Summer Gatherings

Lane 8 has chosen San Diego, Dillon, and Vancouver as the three cities for this year’s editions of This Never Happened Summer Gatherings.

If you think you might need a serotonin boost in your life this summer, then Lane 8 is here to deliver. The This Never Happened label boss breathed life back into their Summer Gatherings series last year with stops in Queens, San Francisco, and Denver, and he’ll be running it back for another round of fun in the sun later this year. This time around, Lane 8 has selected three new cities to experience the magic of his melodic soundscapes, so count your blessings if you’re a fan who lives in San Diego, Vancouver, or Dillon, Colorado.

This Never Happened Summer Gatherings will kick off on May 4 in San Diego when Lane 8 takes over the revamped Gallagher Square. After beating the high heat in June and July, he’ll make his way to the Dillon Amphitheater in Dillon on August 31 for a show that Coloradoans won’t want to miss. Then, Lane 8 will show some love to his fans in British Columbia with the final stop on the run on September 7 at the Malkin Bowl in Vancouver.

Lane 8 will play a closing set at each edition that will span two hours. Supporting artists for each edition will arrive in the coming months, but those planning to attend can expect a mix of acts who have found a home on the label recently.

As always, This Never Happened shows promote phone- and photo-free dancefloors. They’ve partnered with Yondr for each stop to provide pouches for attendees’ phones to help enforce this concept.
