Each year, thousands of dance music lovers from all over Canada and beyond descend upon Toronto to get their groove on at Veld Music Festival. This three-day experience, dubbed the biggest annual EDM event in the country, has hosted top-tier artists and plenty of unique acts over its decade-long run. This year, it’s set to make a grand return to Downsview Park on August 2-4 for another round of summer fun.
Those planning to attend the upcoming edition of Veld Music Festival will be treated to art installations, plenty of food and drinks to enjoy, and sounds curated by artists who are playing its three stages. Past iterations have brought forth some seriously impressive talent to Toronto, and this year is shaping up nicely with the first wave of artists revealed on the lineup.
If you love the booming mainstage vibes, then you’re in luck because Alesso, Marshmello, and Martin Garrix are among the first six artists announced on the Veld Music Festival lineup. Joining those three is Eric Prydz, who is bringing his HOLO show along for the ride, along with FISHER and Kaskade, who are both sure to deliver pure house heaters to get everyone shuffling to the beat.
Joining those headliners are a flurry of other fantastic artists. House and techno lovers will be stoked to see the likes of Alok, Cristoph, Le Youth, KREAM, Tita Lau, James Hype, Ben Bohmer, and Marsh on the lineup, along with Oliver Heldens, who will play an additional HI-LO set. Jonas Blue and Sam Feldt will also bring their Endless Summer concept to the festival. There’s plenty of power on the bass side of the spectrum with Subtronics, HOL!, KAYZO, ISOxo, Black Tiger Sex Machine, MitiS, Ray Volpe, and more slated to bring some heat to Veld.
