Sonic Bloom will not be returning to Hummingbird Ranch next summer as the festival has been officially put on hiatus.
Each summer, music and art lovers from all walks of life have made their way to Hummingbird Ranch in Colorado for a weekend full of fantastic beats and stunning production displays at Sonic Bloom. From the beautiful venue and gorgeous art displays to the stunning performances and overall community, this festival has stolen the hearts of thousands since its inception, many of whom consider themselves to be family.
The most recent edition of Sonic Bloom brought forth one of their most dynamic lineups to date, with artists including CloZee, Lotus, Dirtwire, Papadosio, SunSquabi, A Hundred Drums, Alix Perez, Maddy O’Neal, KOAN Sound, and more taking the stage. This musical diversity helped leave a lasting impression on those who were in attendance this year, leaving them yearning for another trip to this magical wonderland. But unfortunately a reunion won’t be happening in 2024.
Today, Sonic Bloom released an official statement that the festival will officially go on hiatus in 2024 after a monumental 15-edition run. Taking to social media, the festival organizers said, “Here on the winter solstice we reflect back on the 15 festivals we have experienced around the summer solstice together over the past 17 years with a profound sense of gratitude for the entire SONIC BLOOM community and for all of your participation and support since 2006… THANK YOU!”
Although Sonic Bloom isn’t happening this year, they’re urging their faithful attendees to branch out and explore two other festivals happening in the scene that are special – Texas Eclipse and Rise & Vibes. They’ve secured discounted tickets for their community, so make sure to check them out and consider attending!
