The upcoming edition of Proper Las Vegas on New Year’s Eve has been canceled after FNGRS CRSSD sent an email to ticket buyers tonight.
FNGRS CRSSD has been dominating the house and techno scene in San Diego with events like CRSSD Festival, DAY MVS in the Park, and their annual end-of-the-year soiree, Proper NYE/NYD. This year has seen them continue their run, but they also set their sights on reaching beyond the borders of Southern California with the announcement of Proper Las Vegas in collaboration with Framework. This two-night affair was slated to take place at the immersive AREA 15, but it’s been officially canceled as of moments ago.
Tonight, FNGRS CRSSD sent an email out to those who had purchased tickets to announce the cancelation, and as of publishing, there has not been an official statement posted to their social media channels. “Not our favorite news to be passing on… but due to a number of factors outside of our control, we’ve made the unfortunate decision to cancel Proper Las Vegas,” the email reads.
In their message, FNGRS CRSSD also stressed that Proper NYE/NYD in San Diego is “still 100% on as planned and is wholly unaffected.” So, if you’re looking to celebrate the new year in style, heading to America’s Finest City will be your best move.
The debut edition of Proper Las Vegas was set to feature a laundry list of house and techno artists such as Hot Since 82, Chris Lake, Sonny Fodera, ZHU, Walker & Royce, Gorgon City, CamelPhat, and more.
Those who purchased passes for Proper Las Vegas will receive a full refund or the option to transfer their passes to the San Diego edition. If you’d like to transfer, please respond to the email you received by October 1.
