A new Teksupport warehouse space will place host to three totally unique nights of Eric Prydz’s HOLO stage show.
If you’ve ever attended one of Eric Prydz‘s HOLO shows, you’re well aware that they’re an evolving, audiovisual spectacle. Immersive visuals pair with Prydz’s unmistakeable style of progressive house to yield an unforgettable experience. The Swedish DJ and producer has announced that New York City music lovers will get to witness three unique iterations of the stage show on November 22, 24, and 25.
Prydz first dabbled in holographic visuals for his EPIC shows, later placing them front and center as he launched his HOLO concept. This year alone, he has taken HOLO to festivals such as Tomorrowland, Sónar, and Coachella, along with a residency at Hï Ibiza. The upcoming fall string of NYC shows will mark the first North American appearance of the stage show outside of festivals.
Partnering on the events is NYC promoter Teksupport, who also helps organize nights for techno and house artists like Richie Hawtin, Marco Carola, Nicole Moudaber, and Dixon. They have locked in a brand-new warehouse venue for the occasion.
Eric Prydz put himself on the map with the 2004 single “Call on Me.” He was part of Swedish House Mafia during the supergroup’s nascent 2008 era and has also collaborated with its individual members separately. Prydz’ career gained significant momentum leading up to his aptly titled 2016 album, Opus. The COVID pandemic more or less signaled the end of his EPIC event concept. HOLO has taken its place, giving a technically marvelous context to his layered and highly intentional style.
Presale signup for Eric Prydz’s November 2023 HOLO events in New York City closes September 21 at 10pm ET. Private presale starts at noon on September 22, and public on sale begins at 5pm the same day. Register here.
