Beloved house music label Defected Records has announced a partnership with LabelRadar to streamline their demo submission process.
Defected has long been known as one of the global powerhouses in the dance music scene with its lengthy list of releases from star-studded artists and many sub-labels under its belt. Artists like Jamie Jones, Todd Edwards, Boys Noize, Harry Romero, CamelPhat, Purple Disco Machine, John Summit, LP Giobbi, and Hannah Wants, have all found a home on the imprint over the years. Now, for the first time ever, more aspiring artists might find their place among the greats with their newly announced partnership with LabelRadar.
LabelRadar, a demo submission platform within Beatport Group’s Music Services division, has helped change the music discovery process by democratizing access to decision-makers from labels for a streamlined experience. This new partnership will allow Defected Records’ A&R team to not only empower emerging artists but also review and discover talent more efficiently. They will join other major labels that have also begun to utilize LabelRadar for their demo submissions, including Armada, Anjuna, Toolroom, Drumcode, and more.
Not only is Defected Records partnering with LabelRadar, but they’re also bringing the sub-labels along with them, meaning artists can submit demos to Glitterbox, D4 D4NCE, Nu Groove, Classic, DVINE Sounds, and more.
Are you an artist looking to make your big break on Defected Records or one of its sub-labels? Sign up to LabelRadar for free and submit your demos to the imprint via their official website!
