Cristoph to Embark on First-Ever Tour of All Open-to-Close DJ Sets

Fall 2023 will see Cristoph perform 15 open-to-close DJ sets in cities throughout North America.

Cristoph is breaking new ground with a fall concept tour sure to pique the interest of house and techno lovers. From October 13 to November 18, the FaCet, Vol. 1 producer will spend all 15 stops on the O2C Fall 2023 North American Tour playing open-to-close sets.

“With zero openers, gimmicks, and an extended open-to-curfew play time on each stop, his upcoming fall tour will see the electronic music maestro curate an experience like no other,” reads a press release. The tour kicks off in Chicago for one of PRYSM Nightclub‘s Serum events before touching down at hotspots like Bauhaus Houston, Avant Gardner in Brooklyn, CODA in Toronto (already sold out), and The Vault in Minneapolis before rounding out with an appearance at Sound Nightclub in Los Angeles.

Any DJ worth their salt has played their fair share of open-to-close sets. Seldom does an artist agree to a tour entirely consisting of them, however — let alone one consisting of 15 dates. Cristoph’s willingness to offer such an energy exchange for his fans not only speaks to his dedication to his craft but also his adventurous spirit.

When he’s not touring, Cristoph (real name CJ Costigan) calls Newcastle upon Tyne home. Both his father and older brother worked in the dance music industry, exposing him to the art of DJing at a young age. 2016 arguably marked his big break as he got signed to Hot Since 82‘s record label, Knee Deep in Sound. He has since released on John Digweed‘s Bedrock Records, Sasha‘s Last Night On Earth, Eric Prydz‘s Pryda Presents, and a slew of other tastemaker labels in addition to performing at venues across the globe.

Cristoph’s O2C Fall 2023 North American Tour runs from October 13 to November 18. Tickets are available on his website.
