Dive into chaos, dance in harmony, and discover Airrica and Ashee’s International Confusion EP, out now on Higher Ground!

Higher Ground has released a new three-track EP titled International Confusion, a collaboration between Ibiza-based DJ and producer Airrica and UK-based producer Ashee. The EP is a vibrant fusion of soundscapes that push past the usual tech boundaries, ensuring listeners won’t stay seated for long. For Airrica and Ashee, music is more than just crafting tracks; it’s about capturing moments.

When working together, the two artists had one guiding principle: “If we’re having fun, the music’s probably good.” This ethos is evident in the distinctive sound design of each track, pulling from the artists’ unique industry experience and using the eclectic qualities of the rave as inspiration. In addition, every track was independently recorded in a different studio, each in a single day, each with a different audience in mind.

Be it the dizzying euphoria shared with a friend on the dancefloor or the exploration of diverse musical territories, International Confusion encapsulates it all. The EP starts with the title track that bursts with electrifying energy, taking listeners on a whirlwind of a sonic journey. “Elsa’s Scream” entices with its rhythmic grooves, while “Flori” delves into a deeper, more atmospheric soundscape layered with intrigue and tension.

Both artists have been on quite an exciting come-up. Airrica has been performing alongside artists such as Black Coffee, Chris Lake, and Adriatique in various locations across Europe and North America this summer. Meanwhile, Ashee recently self-released two tracks, “Oxytocin” and “Motomami,” which have turned heads. With the arrival of International Confusion, there’s no confusion that these two are going places!
