Nihil Young has delivered a number of quality tunes this year, and he just dropped off a massive mix that showcases his progressive style.
If you’re someone who has fallen in love with the sounds of progressive house and melodic house and techno, then there’s no doubt that Nihil Young is an artist you should be familiar with. This Italian DJ and producer has made a name for himself over the years with impressive releases in this sonic realm that have landed on labels ranging from Purified and Odd One Out to Toolroom and Vandit, among others.
While past releases have infected the minds of a global fanbase, this year has seen Nihil Young continue to flourish with stunning tracks that have swept listeners off their feet. This has included EPs like As One / Obsidian and Mind Kontrol, along with collaborations like “Valium,” which saw him team up with Modeplex. Additionally, he graced the world with a gorgeous take on one of the scene’s most beloved tracks, Binary Finary’s “1998.” Nihil Young masterfully twisted the trance tune into a progressive masterpiece.
The summer heat hasn’t slowed Nihil Young down by any means, either. Not only did he drop “Future Self” with LEO ISLO and the Amethyst EP with Dosem and Paige, but he continued his collaborative journey by working with Luke Coulson on “Better Off” and, more recently, dropped “Control” with TYGR TYGR.
As the end of the season begins to draw near, Nihil Young is keeping the vibes alive with a fresh mix. Its runtime is filled to the brim with his recently released singles, a flurry of IDs, and curated gems, like Enamour’s “Body Test,” ARTBAT’s “Artefact,” SOHMI’s remix of Yotto and Booka Shade’s “Encounters,” and more, so give it a spin and find your inner peace with this melodic maestro.
