Daktyl and Benni Ola gear up for their upcoming EP, Chaos Theory, Pt. 2, with the new single “Safe” on Young Arts Records.

In a world where music has the power to uplift and heal, the partnership of Nigerian-American artist Benni Ola and British producer Daktyl stands out as a shining example of the profound impact that can be achieved through artistic unity. The two talented artists form a dynamic duo in which their strengths and creative energies merge to create pure magic in their music. Since their last collaboration on Chaos Theory, Pt. 1, released earlier this year, they continued to enrich their musical creations, which allows them to explore new horizons together.

While Chaos Theory Pt.1 showcased a more club-oriented sound, the duo aims to take listeners on an intimate ride in the upcoming sequel, Chaos Theory, Pt. 2, due out on September 29 on Young Arts Records. The new project will focus on the emotional chaos we all encounter and the deep desire to regain control over our lives.

Chaos Theory, Pt. 2 in general is definitely the more emotional side of the music. With Pt. 1 bringing the more clubby records, Pt. 2 focuses on the emotional chaos we experience and desperately want to control. You can hear this in both the lyrics and production.

Giving the fans a first taste of this new sonic direction is the lead single, “Safe,” which opens with a solitary and serene melody to set a pure and optimistic tone right from the start. As the track progresses, it gracefully introduces crunchy and rhythmic percussive elements, adding depth and texture to the mix. Through its expressive instrumentation and evocative lyrics, such as “Hate how love feels, I know it scares you, and that’s a fact,” the song allows listeners to connect deeply with the raw, authentic emotions intrinsic to any relationship.

A further depiction of love, the accompanying music video for “Safe” uses symbolism by referencing the single “Matrix” from their previous EP and telling the story in reverse. It starts with a poignant depiction of the ending, showcasing the aftermath of strung-out love before skillfully jumping back to the beginning. The story unravels fully, providing fans with a visually stunning portrayal of the song’s underlying meaning.
