Odd Mob Gifts Fans With Plenty of Energy on ‘Club Rompas’

Odd Mob delivers four tunes that are sure to ignite dancefloors near and far with the release of his latest EP, Club Rompas.

There must be something in Australia’s waters that has led to the country birthing so many fantastic artists in the dance music scene. From house to drum and bass, and everything in between, there’s clearly no shortage of talent, and Odd Mob is one of the latest who has won over the hearts and minds of house music lovers. From smash hits like “Lithium,” “Intrinsic,” and “LEFT TO RIGHT” to his performances at Coachella and EDC Las Vegas to nightclubs near and far, he’s only continued to impress with each passing year.

In June, Odd Mob returned to Tinted Records for the release of another massive track, “XTC,” which quickly caught fire and lit up dancefloors, and now he’s returned to the imprint with a full-length EP to pair with it, Club Rompas. While that lead single set the tone for the club-ready jams that would be found throughout the rest of the release, the following three tracks showcase his ability to work well with others to pack a proper house punch.

Chicago-based duo Birthdayy Partyy are the first to join Odd Mob as they take everyone to the “Underground” for their collaborative tune. Oscillating sirens and gritty synths dominate the soundscape on this one as you quickly find yourself in a subterranean venue with a packed crowd and bumpin’ system after the pitched vocal hypnotizes your mind.

Then, Odd Mob looks to another duo from Chicago, Basura Boyz, for the final two tracks on Club Rompas, “Guest List” and “Blisters On My Feet.” The first of the two dials the energy up a notch as it builds into a drop that will put feet into a frenzy on the dancefloor of any stage, be it a festival, nightclub, or underground show. All that shuffling will surely cause some blisters, but if it hadn’t, then “Blisters on My Feet” will certainly do the trick with its hypnotic vocal hook and rolling bassline guiding the way to your sweat-induced state.

Listen to Club Rompas on Spotify or your preferred platform, and make sure you’re tuned to Odd Mob’s socials to know where he’s playing next!
