Rising melodic techno and progressive artist KASIA dropped off a mix ahead of her set at this year’s edition of UNTOLD Festival.
There’s something special about KASIA‘s touch on melodic house and techno. It’s soft yet striking, commanding yet calm and cool. This dichotomy is precisely what makes her distinct brand of music so enticing, and it’s why she’s drawn in so many adoring listeners in the years she’s been DJing and producing. Whenever and wherever she hits the decks — whether in Tulum, Ibiza, or New York City — you can bet that she’s putting her entire heart and soul into it.
KASIA’s DJ journey took off years ago, but in 2023 she’s taken it to the next level by releasing her first original music. In March, she unveiled her two-track EP Concussion, which featured the title track and “Water World.” A fantastic introduction to her sound that would continue to develop in the following months, this release showcased her keen ear for emotionally charged builds. This theme continued into her March single “Universal Nation” and, most recently, her stunning track “Not Alone” with Vincenzo Sarti.
The raw and vulnerable feel that KASIA evokes in the studio translates effortlessly into her live sets. It’s no wonder why she’s shared stages with melodic house and techno maestros like RÜFÜS DU SOL, Colyn, and Solomun, to name a few. Her lovely soundscapes have also earned her appearances on the stages of renowned festivals and events all around the world. One of the most notable is Romania’s very own UNTOLD Festival, where she’s set to play the Galaxy Stage and have attendees feeling energized and rejuvenated.
