Timmy Trumpet chatted with Hardstyle.com at Electric Love Festival about the massive potential of hard dance.
Timmy Trumpet is known for his contagiously fiery performances and is typically booked at mainstages globally. Having produced a few hard dance tracks with several still in the works, he even incorporates the genre into his sets.
The crazy trumpeter has gradually been introducing mainstage crowds across the planet to the rougher ends of the electronic music spectrum. Audiences of Tomorrowland Belgium, Ultra Music Festival, Parookaville, and several more have had the satisfying opportunity to hear this theatrical genius show love to hard dance.
Earlier this month, Hardstyle.com had the chance to sit down with the SINPHONY Radio master at Electric Love Festival, a multi-genre electronic festival in Austria. During this interview, Timmy Trumpet highlighted his appreciation for hardstyle and the potential it has in the scene. He revealed that he thinks it is the most underrated genre and holds it in high esteem.
Throughout the past few months, Timmy Trumpet has been teasing several unreleased hard dance tracks in his sets, including “Boom Boom Boom” with Da Tweekaz and “The Race” with Vini Vici and Sub Zero Project. He doesn’t plan to stop there, either. He closed Tomorrowland’s epic mainstage this past weekend with terrorcore. Even most hard dance artists don’t wrap up their sets with BPMs that fast and rough! His consistency in sprinkling hard dance definitely has not gone unnoticed.
On a global level, hard dance has been creeping into the mainstage EDM scene in addition to internet viral moments. From the millions of views on Defqon.1 end show and “Power Hour” videos to the increasing number of hard dance tracks played by artists outside the scene to trending audio on TikTok, the genre enjoys well-deserved recognition in the scene that appears to be steadily growing.
