Insomniac’s beloved festival, Electric Daisy Carnival, will be setting sail on November 4-8 from Miami for the debut edition of EDSea.
Electric Daisy Carnival has grown from a somewhat small festival in the heart of Southern California to become one of the biggest festival brands on the planet. While the festival’s largest home is in Las Vegas, it’s also seen a continuous expansion in Orlando and Mexico City while also touching down in China, Brazil, Puerto Rico, the UK, and more over the years. Now, Insomniac Events is setting its sights on dominating the high seas by teaming up with Sixthman to launch EDSea.
Those who have closely followed EDC over the past decade will remember rumors that swirled back in 2012 about an edition of the festival on the high seas – and now that dream for many has come true. After Pasquale Rotella teased the arrival of EDSea last night, more details have officially surfaced today surrounding this massive party on the high seas. The maiden voyage for EDSea will take place on November 4-8 and embark from Miami for a trip to Nassau and Great Stirrup Cay.
The Norwegian Joy will be the first cruise ship to host EDSea and offers a plethora of activities that range from go-karting and laser tag to a waterpark and more, not to mention the specialty dining options available for those onboard. Insomniac will spruce the ship up with their own art installations, eight stages of music, and plenty of themed elements throughout the ship’s 15 decks, making it an immersive Electric Daisy Carnival experience like none other before it.
There are a number of different cabins available for those planning their EDSea trip, with everything from cabins with ocean-view balconies to interior rooms that are perfect for those on a budget available. Pricing is determined based on the number of guests staying in your room – so make sure to check out the full list of options and get ready for the Future Owl pre-sale that will allow you to lock in your room for a deposit of $100/person.
Make sure to follow EDSea on social media to stay informed on future updates, including the lineup and more – and dial 1-855-EDC-BOAT to hear the message for yourself. The Future Owl pre-sale for this excursion will begin on January 17, with the general sale starting on January 27 – sign up now for access.
