Fresh house duo RaeCola is bringing the heat to Dirtybird Campout this year and spun up a mix to get members of the flock moving to the beat!
Dirtybird Campout is one of the most immersive boutique festivals in North America, with its consistently impressive lineups and a wide array of activities for members of the flock to participate in. This year is shaping up to be no different as the Dirtybird team curated a fantastic list of artists to grace the festival’s two stages – and even announced a new stage for those looking to dance deep into the night.
The hype is beginning to bubble over for this year’s edition of Dirtybird Campout, which is set to take place on October 7-9, and the artists are clearly excited to make their way to the Modesto Reservoir for the weekend as well. While the lineup features a plethora of established artists who have become flock favorites over the years, others, like rising house duo RaeCola, are headed to the festival for the first time.
This year has seen RaeCola begin to take hold of the minds of house music lovers near and far, especially after these twins released their Bezerk EP earlier this year. They’ve also impressed from behind the decks with appearances at editions of Day Trip and Space Yacht while also playing curated Dirtybird events along the way. Now, to share their excitement and give everyone a taste of what’s in store at Dirtybird Campout this year, RaeCola spun up a mix for everyone to feast their ears on.
Creating this mix was so much fun! We love spinning some of our favorite hometown influences like DJ Slugo and DJ Rashad, alongside some amazing up-and-coming producers like GuzBass and G-Spec. Playing together allows for dynamic creative flow, mixing between dirty ghetto house grooves and irresistible tech house. We love how liberating dance music truly is. In this mix, we crave that feeling of just letting go and letting the music take control.
