New York City’s leading underground events promoter, Teksupport, is returning with its monthly showdown featuring Ricardo Villalobos.
Teksupport is bringing the heat to Brooklyn’s 99 Scott open-air space with a banging house and techno lineup this Labor Day weekend to close out the summer. Popular for its commitment to curating monthly events with the purpose of uniting everyone for the pure love of electronic music, Teksupport is living up to its mission by making each event a unique experience.
On Friday, September 2, from 7pm to 4am fans will be transported to an after-hours atmosphere where the champions of the night are known for their experimental takes on genres. Headlining the night is Chilean-born producer Ricardo Villalobos who will grace the decks with his minimal techno for the first time in the US outside of Time Warp US. The Germany-based producer remains an icon within the techno space and is ready to have crowds dancing the night away.
The incredible bill continues with other great acts, including Detroit techno maestro Carl Craig who will bring a special surprise guest for a B2B set. Other B2B sets will include rising Turkish DJ O.BEE with Colombian DJ and producer Tomas Station, and Brooklyn-based DJs Maksim and Rasho.
While these B2B performances should be enough to convince anyone on the fence about going, it is worth noting that another New York City local, Mink, is making an appearance, and will give fans a taste of what he recently delivered at Circoloco Ibiza. Closing out the bill is Canadian producer and DJ Maher Daniel, who happens to have a single out with Ricardo Villalobos. Perhaps, we will see them joining forces at some point for “Changed.”
Make sure to grab your tickets and close out your summer at 99 Scott industrial courtyard for Teksupport’s September extravaganza. Whether you love the minimal techno or are more inclined to house, there is surely something for all fans.
