Montell2099 Heats Things up Ahead of HARD Summer 2022

Montell2099 will soon be tearing up the stage at HARD Summer and gave us a taste of what to expect for his set with a new mixtape.

A staple of Southern Californian festivals, HARD Summer, is right around the corner once again. Pretty soon, fans from near and far will be making their way to the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino, CA from July 29-31 for a weekend packed with some of the scene’s best talent and rising stars.

With a solid lineup full of heavy-hitters across all musical realms including bass, house, rap, and more, there is no shortage for anyone looking to hear their favorite genres or explore new ones. To get everyone hyped for the festival, artists from the HARD Summer lineup are creating mixtapes that give a peek into what fans can expect from them — and today, it’s time for Montell2099 to showcase his sound.

With the constantly shifting and evolving beats of bass music, comes a new wave of change-makers ready to shake up the industry. One of the producers helping redefine the scene with new sounds is Montell2099. With support from RL Grime and his label Sable Valley, along with collaborations from other artists like Netsky and 21 Savage, Montell has surely made a name for himself as of late. Whether it’s heavy bass beats, drum and bass tracks, or even rap, Montell is a multi-faceted producer whose talents will definitely take him far.

Coming off a string of shows across North America, including festival stops at Hangout Festival and Summer Camp, Montell2099 is more than ready to light a fire in the hearts of fans at HARD Summer. His mixtape is stocked full of heavy-hitting beats, featuring tracks and edits from fellow Sable Valley producer Knock2, as well as drum and bass icons Sub Focus, Dimension, and Wilkinson.
