Same Same But Different returns to Lake Perris with a reimagined vision that will make the 2022 edition one of the best ones yet!
Since last year’s edition of Same Same But Different, there has not been a day that goes by attendees don’t daydream about the festival’s return. Well, it’s good news for them and those who are keen to attend this year as the details about the return of this beloved Southern California-based festival have been announced.
This year’s edition of Same Same But Different is set to take place at Lake Perris the weekend of September 9-11, and while the highly-anticipated lineup is still under wraps there are a few other exciting details to divulge. For the first time, the festival will be a fully-immersive experience taking over Lake Perris State Park in its entirety. There will be upgraded amenities including lush grass areas, electric car camping, backstage VIP experiences, state park-maintained bathrooms and showers, RV parking and hookups, parking shuttles, and more.

In addition to larger festival grounds, Same Same But Different is partnering with Chris Racan of KAABOO Music & Arts Festival to co-produce the event. And to top it all off there will be even more activities for attendees to participate in that include everything from educational workshops and wellness activities to yoga and more.
Early bird passes begin at $255 and will increase to $285 at Tier 1, $305 at Tier 2, and $325 at Tier 3, plus fees and taxes. All other passes and experience items like VIP, early entry, parking, and camping are also available. This year is shaping up to be bigger and better than ever so be sure to lock in your ticket at the lowest price possible. Once the lineup drops tickets will start selling fast and increase in price as each tier sells out.
